Our very own Mister Kleen Team recently participated in The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Washington, D.C. The 39.3 mile arduous journey attracted more than 2,000 participants from 40 states, including support from several hundred breast cancer survivors. An astonishing $4.5 million was raised to advance access to care and funding for breast cancer prevention and treatment research.

Team Mister Kleen’s Impressive Stats

2013 marked the first year Mister Kleen participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and we couldn’t be happier for our volunteer participants to represent Team Mister Kleen: Connie Stewart, Chief Operating Officer; Christy Clark, Director of Field Services; Vanessa Pendergrass, Field Operations Support Specialist.

Team Mister Kleen walked on behalf of friends, family, clients, and all the inspiring women and men they met throughout their journey. Below is a snapshot of a few incredible feats they were able to achieve:

• Finished the first 26.3 miles in place(s) 132, 216, and 217 out of 2,000 plus walkers.
• Completed the 39.3 mile walk in 13.5 hours including rest and nourishment breaks.
• Raised a total of $7,251.40.
