Training our employees to better serve our clients is a commitment of Mister Kleen.  Recognizing that this sets us apart from our competition, we have been busy educating our team members over the last several months with the latest and greatest technologies and techniques available in our industry.  Below are highlights of some of the recent training events.

January

OSHA Training was held by Area Managers of Mister Kleen for all field employees.  This annual training emphasizes the policies and procedures for OSHA forms. The training also features a formal review of safety and OSHA procedures including why it was created, what it covers, employer/employee responsibilities and how OSHA enforces standards.

February

Blood Borne & Pathogen Training.   This mandatory annual safety training was held at our various sites for all front line employees.  Learning how to prevent work-related illnesses and injuries is a must and Mister Kleen prides ourselves with a safety first mentality for all our employees and our clients.

March

Safety Training is led by Mister Kleen Area Managers to ensure staff is in compliance with all safety procedures.  Electrical cord and Chariot training was held at Mister Kleen’s headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

April

Sexual Harassment Training is led by Area Managers at each site.  The Managers ensure employees understand Mister Kleen’s harassment-free workplace policy including the complaint reporting process.

SalesNexus Training. Eric Koch, Marketing Specialist at Mister Kleen unveiled a new CRM contact management database – SalesNexus.  The training overviewed new procedures for: creating, storing, and managing contacts; marketing campaigns and business opportunities; reporting; and much more. With our new CRM in place, managers can now submit and deliver job proposals with a faster turnaround for clients.

May

Cleaning for Health & Environment is presented to all field employees by their Area Manager and Field Site Supervisors.  This informative training reviews all Mister Kleen’s green cleaning procedures.

June

Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Training.  Every product at every site must have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) which provides information on what chemicals are inside each product.  Field employees are trained on how to handle and work with a particular substance in a safe manner, including information such as storage, mixing of chemicals, disposal, protective equipment, and spill-handling procedures.

Driver Safety Training held annually is provided to all employees that operate company vehicles.  Team members watch our driver safety video which provides key defensive driving principles needed to prevent driving accidents.  This informative training was led by Mister Kleen’s Human Resources Department.
