Ernest Clark, Jr., CBSE
President

Ernest (Ernie) Clark, Jr., CBSE is President of Mister Kleen Maintenance Co., Inc., based in Alexandria, Va. Mister Kleen is a leading provider of contract cleaning services to commercial and high security facilities since 1976. Active in the family business since its inception, Ernie has worked from the entry-level up. Starting with the company as a general cleaner and later as a high rise window washer, he has worked and learned all aspects of the business. He was promoted to Vice-President in 1987 and to President in 1990. Ernie has spent a great deal of his time volunteering to enhance and improve the professionalism of the building service contracting industry. He is a past-President of the Capitol Association of Building Service Contractors (CABSC). In 1993, the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) presented Ernie the highest professional designation in the industry – Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE). In 1998, he was inducted into The President’s Club of BSCAI, for his commitment to the industry. Ernie has served two terms on the board of BSCAI. In 2005 he was elected as an Officer and 2008 Ernie served as President of BSCAI. In 2010, Ernie was the proud recipient of the James E. Purcell Leadership Award. This award is presented each year by BSCAI giving recognition of long-time service to the Association and the building service contracting industry. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Walter L. Cook Award. The Walter L. Cook Award is given to a BSCAI member who has made outstanding contributions in furthering the programs and image of the Association and the building service contracting industry.

Dianna Clark, RBSM
Vice-President and General Manager

Dianna started with Mister Kleen Maintenance Company in 1980 as an on-site cleaning supervisor and has worked in all facets of business. She was promoted to Director of Operations in 1995 and ultimately to Vice-President and General Manager in 2004. She is a member of the Mister Kleen Executive Committee. She holds the highest professional certification for a manager in the cleaning industry - Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM). She interacts daily with our customers and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Mister Kleen. Our managers report to Dianna daily to ensure quality control at all levels of our operation. In addition, Dianna is a past-President of the Capitol Association of Building Service Contractors (CABSC).

Lynn Young
Controller

Lynn started with Mister Kleen in 2000. She is involved in all financial issues pertaining to Mister Kleen and is responsible for routine financial reporting to the Executive Committee and management of the Administrative Team. She comes from a retail environment with over twenty years of experience in Management and Accounting. She is also certified by George Mason University in Accounting/Office Management.

Danyelle Clark
Vice-President of Security

Danyelle "officially" joined the team in early 2002, after working more than fifteen years at ExxonMobil Corporation. She joined the company to head up our ever expanding high-security sector. She is our primary representative to this industry and oversees all of the security related matters for Mister Kleen. She is an active member with the National Classification Management Society (NCMS).

Christy Clark, RBSM
Director of Specialty Services

Christy grew up around the day-to-day operations of Mister Kleen and represents the third generation of Clarks at Mister Kleen. She worked part-time while attending school and became a full-time team member in 1997. Christy has learned the operations of Mister Kleen from answering phones to front-line cleaning. In April 1999, she was promoted to the position of Director of Residential Services and in 2002, she was given the added responsibility of heading up our Special Services Division. Christy holds the RBSM Certification, as well as certification in Mold Remediation, Water Restoration and Stone Masonry and Tile flooring.

Cheri Roth
Office Administrator

Cheri joined the Mister Kleen team in 2010 to serve as the Office Administrator and Assistant to the President. Cheri helps ensure the building and day to day operations within Mister Kleen headquarters are running smoothly. Cheri has many years of experience in the administrative, meeting planning and hospitality fields. A native to the area, she has been very active in her local community serving on various boards, committees and mentoring.

Vanessa Pendergrass
Assistant to the Vice-President and General Manager

Vanessa joined the Mister Kleen team in 2006 and comes to us with many years of administrative experience from various industries. Her primary function is to provide support to the Vice-President & General Manager, as well as our Customer Service Manager. VVanessa is a direct link between the operational team and/or clients and has proven time and again that she is a team player with a can-do-attitude.

Chad Clark, RBSM
Customer Service Manager

A member of the third generation of the Clark family, Chad has been involved in the family business most of his life working from the front-line and succeeding to the management level. With several years of management experience, Chad has a strong level of knowledge in all areas of cleaning and restoration, particularly in Special Services for which he earned certification in carpet cleaning from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration) in 2003. In 2006, Chad earned the prestigious RBSM certification and was ultimately promoted to Customer Service Manager heading up Quality Control in our buildings.

Carol Shanholtz
Area Manager

Carol joined Mister Kleen in 2007 and comes to us with secured facility experience. She first started as a lead cleaning tech and was quickly recognized as a leader and promoted to the Area Manager for our secured facilities. She holds an Associates Degree in education and is a native of Winchester, Virginia.

Danilo Ponce
Area Manager

Danilo joined the Mister Kleen team in 2008 as a Project Manager for a large Mister Kleen account supervising approximately 85 employees. His proven success earned him the promotion to Area Manager overseeing several accounts. Danilo comes with 7 + years of managerial experience. He has had many formal training classes on various topics from green cleaning, building inspection techniques, floor and carpet care and safety.

Yolanda Rathbone

VA Metro Area Manager

Yolanda comes to Mister Kleen with over 25 years of experience and joined the team in 2008 as a day cleaner for one of our high security facilities. Realizing her potential, she was the promoted to Supervisor for the night crew at another one of our high security facilities. Once again she has proven her leadership abilities and has been promoted to Area Manager where she oversees several of our Virginia accounts.
