Human Resource Generalist - Alexandria, VA
Requirements:

As our Human Resources Generalist, you will administer the employee benefits program for our 400 employees, conduct both employee orientations and exit interviews and support the Human Resources Manager to whom you will report.

An important part of your job will be benefits administration. You will work with vendors on an ongoing basis to enroll new employees as new contracts are added. You will answer questions from our employees about benefits and payroll. Maintaining information in our HRIS and ensuring timely, accurate information for our employees is critical. Your service orientation and sharp attention to detail will inspire confidence.

Your biggest challenge will be keeping up with the volume of transactions. You will help support the needs of approximately 400 employees in over 35 sites, as well as 12 administrative staff in our headquarters located in Alexandria, VA. With employees in two unions with four different agreements, we have four corresponding benefits plans. We have part-time employees, full-time employees with security clearance, and finally, our administrative team.

The keys to your success will be your ability to work with our vendors of benefits; your meticulous attention to detail administering benefit programs; your direct 'hands-on' involvement with employee and labor relations; your ability to build trusting relationships; and your ability to represent the department in a professional and positive manner. Security Assistant - Alexandria, VA
Requirements:

If you have experience in the security sector and possess a U.S. Government Security Clearance, we have an opportunity for you to build a career as a Security Assistant with us. Mister Kleen has built a reputation for excellence in cleaning high security buildings. Our reputation has led to significant growth over the past few years, and we anticipate future growth in the 15-20% range per year. This niche developed as a result of increased security requirements after 9/11.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for adhering to security requirements for over 400 employees at more than 30 sites throughout the D.C. metropolitan area. Every building has specific security requirements, and we will train you on them. Your responsibilities will include processing security clearances using Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), assisting the facility security officer (FSO) with overall security programs, and participating in Defense Security System (DSS) inspections and audits. You will also help employees complete the paperwork required to secure clearances.

You need to be very detail-oriented, have a keen eye for incomplete information during paperwork processing and take great pride in managing every detail. You will have leeway in the way you perform your tasks - the job must be done thoroughly and accurately. A service orientation combined with a great attitude and an interest in fitting in to a family-run organization are keys to your success in this position.

You will also be responsible for making sure all of our on-site crews are fully staffed. This combination of Security Assistant will integrate key pieces of our HR needs. If you know the security side, we will train you in the recruiting area.

Customer Service Manager—Alexandria, VA
Requirements:

The Primary Job Functions of the Customer Service Manager (CSM) are: To meet with existing customers on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain good relations. To bring timely recommendations to Mister Kleen so we are able to increase customer satisfaction, production, safety, sales, etc. Must be able to represent Mister Kleen in the business community and proactively pursue sales and marketing objectives for our various services.

Some Essential Duties will include: To proactively execute sales and marketing objectives of company as part of the "Sales and Marketing Plan." Prepare job estimates, proposals, etc. for clients in a timely manner. Assist with the start-up of all new jobs to ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Operations. Properly prepare for and attend weekly meetings to report on meetings held and relay timely information regarding sales and marketing issues within the company. Establish a good rapport with customers and keep lines of communications open at all times. Administer company Building Excellence Competition (Quality Control). Assist with the development of company marketing materials (i.e. brochures, newsletters, etc.) Perform other duties as directed by Director of Operations and Executive Committee. Assist with Company Safety Program and help ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to on all job sites. Ensure company equipment is on site per inventory and is presentable. Candidates should have a 4 year degree (preferred); or a 2 year degree with 3-5 years customer service sales experience; outstanding attention to detail; outstanding verbal and written skills; outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
