Is Your Building Secure
Building security is more important than ever before. Here are a few things that we all can do to make our workplace safer:
- Don't make it easy for thieves to walk away with your belongings. Ensure all valuables are secured in your desk or a cabinet.
- Be alert to unfamiliar individuals near the building entryway, especially toward the end of the business day. Report such persons to the building security, concierge service, or building management.
- Never confront suspicious people beyond a simple "May I help you?" question. In case of emergency, call 911.
- Do not open a door for someone you do not know. Security keys and access cards are intended to allow access to the holder only. Office doors should be locked upon departure for the day.
- Do not give elevator access to restricted areas.
Mister Kleen employees have been instructed to do the same. Our employees will always wear a Mister Kleen smock (for nighttime cleaning) or full uniforms (for daytime cleaning), which allow for easy identification. In addition, we are requiring our employees to have a photo ID badge while working in the buildings.
